Les Passerelles Globale – Ghana Meets Coeur d’Espoirs Canada to Strengthen French Education
in Ghana

On 7th August 2025, Les Passerelles Globale – Ghana held a strategic meeting with Coeur
d’Espoirs Canada to explore collaboration aimed at enhancing French teaching in Ghanaian
schools and developing a specialized French nursery curriculum.
The meeting brought together key leaders, including Mr. Hoppe Henry (CEO), Ms. Maya Belaidi
(Vice-Chairperson), and Mr. Bahouli Daniel (Executive Director), Mr. Akoto Bernard (Assistant
Executive Director) and Mr. Tetteh Samuel (Board Member) from Les Passerelles Globale –
Ghana.
Discussions focused on curriculum development, teacher training, and resource creation to
support early French education and improve language proficiency among Ghanaian learners.
Both organizations expressed commitment to working together to make French learning more
accessible, engaging, and impactful in schools across Ghana.
