Strengthening Partnerships: Les Passerelles Globale Meets Ghana TVET

Les Passerelles Globale Ghana recently held a strategic meeting with the Ghana Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Service to explore avenues of collaboration aimed at improving skills development and promoting French language integration in vocational education. The discussion highlighted key areas such as: Capacity Building: Opportunities to train teachers and instructors in both technical and language-based competencies. Resource Development: Exploring joint initiatives to produce French language and technical learning materials tailored for TVET institutions. Student Empowerment: Creating platforms that expose learners to cross-cultural exchanges and equip them with skills relevant to both local and global markets. Both organizations expressed strong commitment to deepening collaboration and agreed to set up working sessions that will define practical steps for implementation. This partnership is expected to open new opportunities for young people in Ghana, combining language proficiency, technical know-how, and cultural exposure to prepare them for success in today’s interconnected world.  Written by Bernard Akoto, Assistant Executive and Head of Education, Les Passerelles Globale Ghana
