French and Sports for All at Les Passerelles Globale
Empowering Minds and Bodies Through Language and Movement
At Les Passerelles Globale (LPG), we believe that education goes beyond the classroom. Our
French and Sports for All program is designed to combine physical activity with language
learning, promoting wellness, teamwork, and confidence while teaching the French language in
a fun, dynamic environment.
Whether on the field or in the classroom, our goal is to ensure that girls, young girls, women,
and young men all have equal access to education, expression, and opportunity.
Why Combine French and Sports?
Sports and language share common values: communication, collaboration, discipline, and
empowerment. Our program uses sports as a vehicle to:
- Make French learning active and engaging
- Promote gender equality and inclusion
- Build self-confidence and leadership skills
- Encourage healthy lifestyles and teamwork
- By integrating French into physical activities, we make language learning interactive, practical,
and accessible to all.
Inclusive for All Ages and Genders
LPG’s program welcomes:
- Young girls and boys in schools and communities.
- Adolescent girls and boys, empowering them through co-ed participation
- Women and young women, often underrepresented in sports-based programs
- Youth groups and sports clubs seeking to integrate learning with play
- Our sessions are safe, inclusive, and community-oriented, ensuring equal participation and
representation across all genders and backgrounds.
Program Activities
- French Vocabulary in Sports Contexts (commands, positions, rules, teamwork language).
- Bilingual Sports Drills and Games.
- Themed Sports Days combining language challenges and physical fun.
- Leadership Through Coaching – Training for girls and women to lead in sports and

Our Vision
Through French and Sports for All, LPG envisions a society where language and physical
movement empower everyone equally—where a young girl with a football and a few French
words can change her future.
We are committed to breaking barriers through education and expression—whether through
conversation, art, or sport.
